Nasi Dagang Recipe – Rice Only
A component of combination part of curry and rice, Nasi Dagang comes with its different components which combines to make it with different taste and make it more delicious. Almostly, nasi dagang may include a sliced hard-boiled egg, fried coconut, vegetable pickle and sometimes include sambal. The ingredients to make nasi dagang are 4 rice cup nasi dagang, 1 can (400ml) thick coconut milk, Hard boiled eggs , fish curry,4-5 red onion, 1 cm ginger slice,sugar and salt. The process to make nasi dagang is not very difficult.
How to make nasi dagang
Firstly, Clean rice and immerse. At least 4 hour or immerse overnight. Take 1 / 4 can coconut milk. Add 1 / 4 cups of water to make liquid coconut milk. 3 / 4 can coconut milk more make as thick coconut milk. Cook thick coconut milk with onion, ginger slice, salt and sugar until sugar / shattered salt. Do not letting too long. Later rice will feelrapidly bored. Drain rice. Steamed shortly approximately 5 minute. Then lift and mix with liquid coconut milk. Steamed again until cooked rice. When rice already cooked, lift and mix with thick coconut milk. Steamed again in 5 minute. When it finished, you may served with fish curry or chicken curry.
